IP Addresses
« on: March 25, 2009, 07:07:16 AM »
I have a question...I notice that when you right click on emails ireceived in hotmail and select 'view source' it gives the details of the senders IP address...any clues on how to block this function when sending emails?  Because, depending on your provider, some of this info is quite transparent. My friends has no info...but others have heaps.

Thanks Lit...Isn't gmail for people who have gambling problems?  I know this sounds left of centre...I just recall that this was the basis for gmail...

Am I wrong?

Hushmail accounts have the snag that you have to keep logging in to renew them...

Eclair - I would hide your IP address entirely at the same time if you are worried tbh, TOR is very helpful when you click that send button for example.

Gmail is short for Google Mail lol.   It has nothing to do with gambling.
:P   Internets are super serious.

What would they call it? "Mail service that encrypts your internet traffic so that the authorities won't find out what you send to other people"?
