At 23:52 Eastern Australian time on 31 August 2006, Wrongplanet.net had 5641 members. Wow Alex must have been busy making a lot of sockpuppets

However, I simply find this estimate hard to believe to say the least. You have to account for departed and banned members whose accounts have not been deleted and still counted as members, the various multiple accounts belonging to the same person and Alex's various sockpuppets like linuxguy5555. AN more honest count of the membership list would reveal at most 500 active members of wrongplanet.net not the over 5500 going on 6000 members Alex would claim.
