The wonderful saga about a land on the other side of the sea

On September 17th this year, it will be exactly 200 years since Sweden ceded Finland to Russia after a disastrous war. I was very surprised to see this text on the backside of the 1 krona coin. It expresses pride over the possession of Finland. I didn't expect this from the Sweden of 2009.

Why all the lines?
"Eat it up.  Wear it out.  Make it do or do without."

'People who say it cannot be done should not interrupt those who are doing it.'
George Bernard Shaw

It probably symbolises the ties between the countries or the waves of the Baltic Sea or both.
