Scary little factoid

The same company makes both the LED light bulbs in my lamp and the asthma inhaler chamber they gave me at the hospital.

High levels of lead, arsenic, and all the other nice chemicals in the manufacturing of LED's.

I see. Maybe only misunderstanding what is the chamber. Visualizing not the actual inhaler, but rather a plastic adaptive device, tube with mask on the end. Plastics are made from nasty stuff but generally safe for use, unless heated or something.

If it's the company I think it is, there is no escaping them anyway. They make everything from lightbulbs to toothbrushes.

They are one of the largest in the world, and one of the biggest suppliers of respiratory devices, from inhalers to cpap machines.

Probably separate divisions for the personal care products, but it does make you wonder some days.

Like those labels on "100% nut-free" products that tell you they were made in a factory that processes peanuts.

Oftentimes, names get slapped on producs that weren't made by the company whose names are on them.

I worked for a company that made the "Factory" high performance parts for Honda, Yamaha and Suzuki.
