I actually don't see anything wrong in that sentence.
And my English is a hell of a lot better than PMSL's Swedish.
Why would she feel inclined to learn Swedish? Apart from e-dick waving, it's pointless to learn.
I speak or read several languages, even if I don't write/type English perfect. English speaking people, especially Yanks, rarely know many foreign languages if any.
No, there's no big point in learning a language that 10 million people or so speak. But she tried to make a couple of sentences in Swedish once, and the result was more than ridiculous, so I guess she should keepquite about Babelfish.
When I was using it an online translator, I was replying to
your Swedish post (which I can only assume was posted in Swedish so you could feel somehow "special" and "superior"). I knew it would come out in broken Swedish but thought it was amsuing to reply in the language you'd posted in anyway. I'm adorable like that. And come to think of it, my freetranslation posts were
still coherent enough that you could tell what I meant to say.
More to the point, I never claimed to be fluent in Swedish, while you
have claimed to be fluent in English- better than most native English speakers, even. Therein lies the issue.
