As for people being interested in other people's rooms. That was one of the issues with the whole Walter and Lulu rant that some of you may remember. They offered to feed my cats while I was on vacation. I got back from my trip. The litterbox reeked, the food bowls were topped off with stale food, the water hadn't been changed. But they had time to snoop. (That had to be their only reason for offering to do it.) I should have stomped a fucking mudhole in both their asses. Only in retrospect do I realize it was just their sociopathic game of investing favors so their "friends" would be more likely to kiss their sorry asses later. These days, I hire a professional pet sitter. (It costs money, but he's professional about it, works under a signed agreement, and has an emergency plan if an animal gets sick.) If you rely on neighbors, co-workers, and friends (including sociopathic leeches pretending to be friends), you never know what the results are going to be.
On a more pleasant note, somebody mentioned Wagner. Most classical music is background filler to me, but Tannhäuser caught my attention. I've got it on my MP3 player and occasionally like to listen to it while working. Anyone else like that one?
