so, once we have done the Q and A about WP, anyone care about me?

 :violin:

How could we care about you? We barely know you.

But of course we care. This is THE place for warmth and caring on the internets. Group hug, everyone!

WP shouldn't be taken too seriously cos it's just a message board. Besides, taking it seriously means taking Alex seriously, and that's not going to happen anytime soon.

I don't know about that.

Richard found somewhere (and posted such, but I would really need to confirm) that WP makes Alex thirty thousand dollars per year.

I would have to verify before we publish, but for the record, some of my investments make far less than that.
I would be a bit smartypans if all my various investments made me thirty thousand dollars each year.

NOt really saying that his business premise is valid, but I can dance.

When you try to think of WP as a business, most of the "detrimental to support" things make sense.  I have a hard time finding fault with making money in this economical climate.

No, but since you brought the entire subject to our attention ...

... tell us why we should care about anything but common humanity's slight peripherally outlined observations.

(hey, don't get me wrong - I want to see you here, because for one thing, if you keep this place up, then I am no longer the oldest cunthold to try my next steps before the assembled youth - get this! Then make your own way - disregarding all that you need to.)

We need to know this, but it is the why that has gone past without notice, thus far.

Watch out the Grey Army is infiltrating.....

OK Merle you completely avoided my question in respect to your ability to be a mod.
Do you think you will make a better member here than mod there?
Just asking
I2 today is not i2 of yesteryear. It is a knitting circle. Those that participate be they nice or asshats know their place and the price to be there. Odeon is the overlord

.Benevolent if you toe the line.

Think it is I2 of old? Even Odeon is not so delusional as to think otherwise. He may on occasionally pretend otherwise but his base is that knitting circle.

Censoring/banning/restricting/moderating myself, Calanadale & Scrapheap were all not his finest moments.

How to apologise to Scrap

It was old three years ago, when Alex had a fit and banned me for comparing his board to a daytime soap. Thing is, every time some n00b comes over here and explains about paying back to the community while feeling bad about the un-dx'd AS (or more often, the adolescent syndrome, tbh), I get all these flashbacks and start thinking how paying ones dues to a kid who couldn't care less is a bit like offering protection money to the local gangsters.

I'll stop bitching about Alex fucking Plank when I fucking feel like it.
