No. I'm taking flaming of the "majority of members there suck" because that is biased.

Well most of them would not get along here, lets face it. There are some good members there.

There are a few whiners, I don't tend to read their posts anyway. The majority of the posts I read are fine. How do you define a whiner? Moaning about life? Well, it is a support site.

Its the defeatist attitudes that most of the members have - and god forbid if anyone actually gave some honest advice (i.e. moan less, get out more)

Getting out more doesn't always solve the problems. I went out last night two two places, and found it really hard to relate to people and came home in a rather defeated mood.

No - but in half the cases they probably just need a good kick up the backside. Going out in itself though is not enough, you need to go somewhere you want to go (even if there were few people there). Going out for its own sake rarely works.

I can understand his point of view. I doubt the copyright infringement claim would hold.

Then can you tell us then? I still don't understand what the big deal is having something copied from your blog and posted on WP.

He's been very paranoid in the past about people quoting his words, because he doesn't want to be caught in a lie. He freely deletes his own posts and those of others he thinks will cause him trouble.

A good way to take him down, when somebody eventually does, will be to go around to all the people who've been slighted by him, gather any chat logs and written records they have, cross reference it all, and publicize it. If Alex hasn't changed from the way he used to be, that will reveal glaring inconsistences, evasions, and outright lies all over the place.

So that's his point of view? That answers my question.
