Taking photos in public

People seem to be really paranoid about photography these days.  Here's a video where FOX news is interviewing an Amtrak representative in Union station in Washington DC, who's telling the interviewer that photography is allowed, after there were complaints from photographers that station security was routinely harassing them, and an Amtrak security guard interrupts the interview to tell them that they have to stop filming and the station has a policy against it.  Perfect timing, and the Amtrak representative has a great egg-on-face look at the end.

Few things seem to bother the police more than being caught on camera by members of the public.

With cameras in phones and being so small to hide them anywhere it seems stupid to pick on people with cameras who are openly taking photos.  Cops do hate it but for the most part can't stop you at least in the US.  I carry a camera almost everywhere I go  I like taking photos of people who are pissing me off it makes them nuts I usually delete them later unless they have a really dramatic

Do you "really" know why cops hate having their picture taken?

It's because of the internet and asses like me with photo editing programs.
