The chirping one I posted sounds almost exactly like my mum's cat.  Her cat is part Siamese so that might account for the loudness. Either that or the cat was overstimmed. I grew up always having Siamese cats at our house, it got very loud at times.

Nope. They're about to become my sister's cats anyway. I'm going to an assisted living center for a while.

And normally the chatter is quiet. Its a sound that means "I really want that!". They do it if they see a bird or a fly, or sometimes evern when playing.
