I think if you have a honorary discharge (like Rage has) then you can.

If I'm not mistaken, there's a certian time period (like 5 years or so) that you're allowed to re-enter the military. You can switch branches of service in many cases.

It was a two year bar to re enlistment. The two years is up in may. I'm just taking odd jobs here and there, being a jack of all trades and such right now. What i'm trying to do is accumulate a bit of money before I join so I will be more comfortable.

I won't have to redo basic, and if I can get on as a veterinary food inspection specialist, I won't have to redo AIT either. Thing is, I was fantastic at being a soldier and I didn't realize how well things were going at the time. This time around i'm gonna do things RIGHT. :thumbup:

Sometimes it's good to have a break and look back at something to see what you would do differently. Even better when you have the opportunity to do something about it and get it right. Good for you, Rage  8)

Are you a VS already or still training? That's awesome.

I was one like four years ago. All I did was the fecals, blood draws, physical exams, etc. I did assist in surgery once though.
