I know someone who got "fragged" while protesting Scientology.  He was wearing his Guy Fawkes mask, but made the mistake of using his cell phone during the protest.  (Supposedly, Scientology has stuff that lets them intercept cell phone calls and determine who it is.)  They started threatening and harassing him just like they've been known to do whenever anyone speaks out against them.

Even before hearing about that, I was never impressed with what I've read.  L. Ron Hubbard once boasted that if you want to make alot of money, start a religion.  Then he went and did just that.  He's an embarrassment to science fiction writers.  I read alot of sci-fi, but I avoid Hubbard's work like Mexican drinking water.

Intercepting analog cell calls was easy digital ones just add another layer of difficulty not that much as the technology is getting very cheep

The scilons are kinda scary. I completely support the anti-scientology movement.
