i'm too green to put the heating up much, so i'd say it's about 16oC tops in the house overall.  there's no heating in my workroom, though, so it's cold in here.  brrrrr.

Be careful so you won't become too blue. :(

I call that Goldilocks' Syndrome when my daughter does it.

It's a matter of power. Are you controlled by your surroundings or do you brave them?

(an important lesson she will someday learn to answer)
Jimi Hendrix: When the power of love overcomes the love of power the world will know peace.

Ghandi: Live as if you were to die tomorrow. Learn as if you were to live forever.

The end result of life's daily pain and suffering, trials and failures, tears and laughter, readings and listenings is an accumulation of wisdom in its purest form.

I saw studies on that, it can't be a few degrees plus or minus,  certain dietary habits can lower body tempeture, and a strong deivation can kill a person. Anyone can do it.  Taking things by mouth can raise body temperature.  Cayenne pepper raises metabolic rate while lowering body temperature.

Yeah, there are ways of raising and lowering body temperature through meditation. I imagine it was a much more common skill before central heating.

I don't really know how to do it, except that there's a kind of switch in my brain, the same switch that I would tell, "I want to wake up at exactly 7:30am tomorrow" and have it happen, that can help sometimes. It seems to be a thought trick of some sort, telling your unconscious brain that something's important, and having it actually believe you. It might work for temperature too.

I am sweating again, I didn't eat that much.  I did ingest cayenne, but it doesn't always do this, perhaps its the ginko from yesterday night just starting to kick in.  It was late at night, and I took in a potentially overstimulating dose of 420mg, with no affect on my sleep.

But that would make you wet. ;)
