None of my neighbors have done that, yet.
 
But a few miles away, there is a major farm equipment dealership which puts on an incredible show every year. They create life-sized, animated displays of lights in the shapes of tractors, combines, balers and many more types of farm implements, all with "moving light" wheels and mechanisms, waving farmers, a few animals - all made of lights. It's huge! It sits on about six acres of land which is full of real equipment during the growing season.
The display is already up.

We have a bag of pine needles in the living room from last year's Christmas, does that count?

I put mine up the first week of November. 

I figured I'd get them up before the cold weather moved in, every year I freeze to death putting them up and end up dropping half of them 3 or more times on the concrete and replacing bulbs the rest of the day. I'm not "as" clumsy when I'm not rushing to get back inside out of the cold.
