Usually it's stinking hot at Christmas and that's part of the reason why I get grumpy around this time of year. I have the opposite of when Seasonal Affective Disorder is commonly expected, I get it in summer. And it's actually a thing.

The fucking walmart choices of music.  This year 4 different versions of "joy to the world" and 3 of "let it snow" on 2 hour loops.  Oh well, this is my last night of work before xmas and I can purge my brain of that crap for 5 straight days!

Because of a slight mix-up in when some bowling friends of The PR were leaving town, I've decided to give out her presents to them on 12th Night instead.  After all it's the start of the Carnival season and when the Magi gave their presents to the Christ child.

I find shopping stressful on a regular day let alone crowds. It's not my super power.

We weren't going to do a big Christmas dinner this year and the boyfriend just changed his mind. Guess who's off to Walmart 2 days before Christmas to buy what we need?

We kind of ran out of money to have a big Christmas celebration dinner. But we do have pudding and custard so that's something.
