Right now, some of the corporations are begging the state for money to help them survive.
Yeah and coincidentally, it happens to be currently the ones who have ignored their customers' wishes and continued in their attempts to appeal to our bling sense ( and yes, we are suckers in many ways for shiny, new, cool stuff), instead of manufacturing high quality, efficient cars that make sense and that we can afford. They could still have made their huge profits and offered the consumers a decent product!
Look how many "patriotic American people" have bought imported foreign cars in the past thirty years.
yeah and now they are crying their taxes are threw the roof and there are no decent jobs and all those welfare bums need to get an eduction and stop milking the system.
I haven't complained about my taxes, I don't want them to go up, but we have been spending in deficit for six years. TAXES ARE GOING UP!!
I laughed at Hadron saying that higher taxes is not a bad thing, but he's a socialist. Of course I am going to laugh at him for thinking that his politics would help us out over here.
He also mentioned that we have rights in this country that we shouldn't have, too.
I seem to remember reading of a few military actions between ourselves and those in his country who said this in the past. It's just laughable to think that because some of our arrogance has lead us to a check balancing type task before we were ready, that his socialist way is the right way.
We will balance out books shortly and lead the way, once again. Have patience.
But, seriously, I was talking about how automotive manufacturers have ignored the large numbers Americans who "voted with their wallets" on whose cars are worth more, while those consumers still lost in the Yen/Dollar war and the Mark/Dollar war. It's like being boo'ed off the stage. The car makers ignored the booing.
